Technopark in Kerala Reports Significant Software Export Growth

Technopark, located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, has announced a remarkable achievement in software exports, reaching a total of ₹17,092 crore (approximately $2.06 billion) during the last financial year. This figure represents a substantial growth of 17.3% compared to the previous year.

Founded in 1990, Technopark is one of Indias largest IT parks and aims to foster the development of the information technology sector within the region. The park houses over 400 companies, employing more than 60,000 professionals. This growth in software exports is attributed to the increasing demand for IT services and solutions on a global scale, as well as the parks commitment to innovation and development.

Kerala’s government has been supportive of the IT sector, providing various incentives and infrastructure improvements aimed at attracting both local and international companies. As digital transformation becomes more prevalent across industries, Technopark is well-positioned to continue its trend of growth in software exports in the coming years.
