Kerala Improves Performance on School Education Index

Kerala has achieved a score of 687.7 and received the grade “Prachesta–2” in the Union Ministry of Educations Performance Grading Index (PGI) 2.0 for the academic year 2024-25.

The Performance Grading Index is designed to evaluate the performance of states and Union Territories in the school education sector, with a focus on various parameters including access, infrastructure, and learning outcomes. The assessment aims to encourage states to improve their educational standards and ensure better services for students.

Keralas score reflects its continued commitment to enhancing educational quality and infrastructure, making it one of the leading states in India in terms of educational performance.
