KKRDB Approves ₹5,000 Crore Budget Allocation Action Plan for Karnataka

In a recent decision, the Board has allocated ₹5,000 crore for various development initiatives. Of this total allocation, ₹2,900 crore has been specifically designated for micro and macro development projects. The Board plans to focus on micro-level projects, committing 70% of the allocated funds to these smaller-scale initiatives. Meanwhile, 30% of the funding will be directed toward major infrastructure and development projects.

This allocation aims to support local economies and enhance community development while also addressing larger infrastructure needs. The strategy reflects a balanced approach to development, ensuring that smaller, grassroots projects receive the necessary funding to thrive, while also investing in significant infrastructure that can benefit a broader population. The funds are expected to be utilized for a variety of projects, including public facilities, utilities, and community services, ultimately fostering sustainable development across different sectors.
