L&T Secures ₹15,000 Crore EPCIC Contract from ADNOC Offshore

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a major Indian multinational conglomerate, has been awarded an “ultra-mega” order exceeding ₹15,000 crore (approximately $1.8 billion) from ADNOC Offshore, the offshore subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). This significant contract falls under the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC) category and involves the development of several offshore facilities.

According to L&Ts latest reports, this award marks a substantial boost in their order book, bringing the total to nearly ₹85,000 crore (about $10.2 billion) since July 2023. Such contracts are critical for L&T, as they enhance the company’s capabilities in the energy sector, particularly in offshore operations.

The new project is expected to include a variety of tasks associated with the construction and installation of offshore oil and gas infrastructure, which aligns with ADNOCs ongoing efforts to expand its production capabilities and enhance operational efficiency in the Middle Eastern oil sector.
