Maharashtra Health Minister Announces FIRs Against Hospitals Over Health Scheme Charges

The Minister announced to the State Assembly that the government has reviewed approximately 368 complaints regarding hospitals charging patients who are covered under health schemes. As a result of this examination, penalties amounting to ₹60 lakh have been recovered to date.
