Maharashtra B. Arch Second Admission List Offers Opportunities to 728 New Students; 893 Students Assigned Preferred Colleges Statewide
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced the release of the second admission list for the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program for the academic year 2026-27. This second list presents admission opportunities to 728 new applicants from a total of 2,007 candidates.
In the first round of admissions, 893 students were successfully placed in one of their top three preferred colleges, following the Auto Freeze policy, which secures the seats of students who are satisfied with their initial choices. Out of the total applicants, 1,183 students completed the admission process, while 970 chose to opt for the betterment process, allowing them to upgrade to preferred colleges if positions become available.
The timeline for the second round of admissions is scheduled from August 18, 2026, to August 20, 2026. Following the second round, provisional vacancies for the third round are expected to be declared on August 21, 2026. Students are encouraged to keep track of the admission process closely to secure their enrollment in the desired programs.
