Mahindra Launches New Electric SUVs: XEV 9S and XEV 9e with Battery-as-a-Service Model

Mahindra & Mahindra has officially launched its latest electric SUVs, the XEV 9S and XEV 9e, with starting prices set at ₹12.65 lakh and ₹13.90 lakh, respectively. These models are part of Mahindras expanded Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) initiative, aimed at providing customers with flexible battery ownership options.

The BaaS model allows customers to either own the battery or subscribe to a battery leasing service, thereby potentially reducing the upfront costs of electric vehicle ownership. This model has now been extended across Mahindras entire electric SUV lineup, including various models within its BE 6 and XEV ranges.

These new SUV offerings highlight Mahindras commitment to bolstering its electric vehicle segment and supporting the growth of sustainable transportation solutions in India.
