Manasi Parekh Reflects on Close Call During Yatra
During a recent trip to Tibet, actress Manasi Parekh and her traveling group encountered a natural disaster as severe flooding occurred in neighboring Nepal. Fortunately, due to a revision in their travel itinerary, the group was staying at a comfortable hotel approximately five hours away from the affected area. The hotel provided essential amenities, including food, electricity, and Wi-Fi, allowing the group to remain connected while awaiting further updates.
In response to the situation, Chinese officials, along with the Isha Foundation, coordinated with the group to establish an alternative exit plan to ensure their safety. As of now, the group is safely en route to their next scheduled destination.
This incident highlights the unpredictable nature of travel in regions prone to natural calamities. Flooding in Nepal has raised concerns regarding infrastructure and humanitarian needs in the area. The situation is continually evolving as authorities work to assess the extent of the damage and provide assistance to those affected.
