Minister Affirms Governments Commitment to Ensuring Quality Power Supply

The Central Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited (CPDCL) has announced the construction of a 33/11 kV semi-indoor substation at Bachupet. Kollu Ravindr, a representative of the CPDCL, stated that this new facility will incorporate underground cabling. The implementation of this infrastructure is expected to alleviate the load currently handled by existing substations, addressing issues related to low voltage supply and minimizing technical failures.

This development is part of CPDCLs ongoing efforts to enhance power distribution efficiency and reliability in the region. The semi-indoor design of the substation is aimed at optimizing space usage and improving safety measures. The use of underground cables will also contribute to minimizing the visual impact of power infrastructure and reduce the likelihood of damage from external factors, such as weather events.

Furthermore, the new substation is anticipated to support the growing energy demands in the area, as well as facilitate future expansions in both residential and commercial sectors.
