Minister Commends C-HED as a Model Initiative, Pledges Government Support

The Centre for Heritage, Environment and Development has been honored with the Bhoomimitra Award-2026, an accolade established by the Aluva Paristhithi Samrakshan Sangham. The award ceremony took place on World Environment Day in Aluva, a day dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices.

World Environment Day, celebrated annually on June 5th, encourages worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. This years theme focuses on the urgent need for sustainable practices to combat climate change and biodiversity loss.
