Minister Reports Intensification of Water Crisis in 43 Villages of Bidar

In a recent directive, Karnatakas Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Eshwar Khandre, has instructed officials to limit the drilling of new borewells strictly to critical situations. This decision is aimed at managing water resources more efficiently amidst concerns over water scarcity in certain regions of the state.

Minister Khandre emphasized the importance of maintaining a reliable water supply for residents, urging officials to prioritize the provision of water through tankers where borewell drilling is not necessary.
