MLA Madhavi Reddy Highlights Two Decades of Underdevelopment in Kadapa City
Kadapa MLA and Government Whip Reddeppagari Madhavi Reddy expressed concerns over the prolonged underdevelopment of Kadapa city, attributing it to the performance of previous civic administrations over the past two decades. Her remarks came during the inauguration of a Census awareness rally aimed at educating the public about the importance of participating in the upcoming Census.
Reddy emphasized that accurate Census data is crucial for ensuring proper allocation of government resources and funds, which can drive development initiatives in the region. The rally featured various activities designed to engage residents and highlight how their participation in the Census can pave the way for much-needed progress in infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
The Census, conducted every ten years in India, plays a significant role in shaping developmental policies and attracting investments. The next Census is set to take place in 2024, and local leaders like Reddy are working to ensure that residents understand its importance for the future of Kadapa.
