Monsoon Expected to Arrive in Kerala Around June 4, According to IMD

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported that an upper-air cyclonic circulation located off the south Kerala coast is likely to enhance rainfall activity in the region. As a result, isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected across Kerala over the next six to seven days.

This weather pattern may lead to significant rainfall accumulation, which could impact local agriculture, infrastructure, and emergency services. The IMD advises residents to remain vigilant and prepare for potential flooding and related disruptions. Additionally, local authorities may issue alerts and take precautions to manage the impacts of the anticipated heavy rainfall.
