Naidu Advocates for Statewide Cleanliness Movement

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has appealed to citizens to participate in a large-scale cleanliness initiative across the state. He emphasized the importance of cleanliness for improving public health and enhancing the overall quality of life. Naidu stated that maintaining clean surroundings is a shared responsibility and urged communities to band together for this cause.

During a recent event, he noted that cleanliness contributes not only to health but also to the states aesthetics and economic vitality, as clean environments attract tourism and investment. The Chief Minister called for citizens to take ownership of their neighborhoods, encouraging everyone—from students to families—to engage in cleanliness activities.

Naidu pointed out that several government programs are already underway to promote hygiene and sanitation, but community participation is essential for lasting impact. He proposed organizing cleanliness drives, particularly in schools and community centers, to instill a sense of pride in maintaining a clean environment among the younger generation.

In addition to mobilizing citizens, the state government plans to enhance waste management systems, ensuring that proper disposal methods are accessible and effective. Community leaders and local organizations are encouraged to partner with the government in these efforts to maximize reach and effectiveness.

By fostering a culture of cleanliness and cooperation, Naidu believes that Andhra Pradesh can become a model for other regions in India, demonstrating the benefits of collective action for the betterment of public health and community pride.
