National Anthem and Song Required to be Sung in All Tripura Schools, Says Chief Minister
The State School Education Department of Tripura has announced that the full version of the national song, “Vande Mataram,” will now be required to be sung alongside the national anthem, “Jana Gana Mana,” in all schools across the state. This directive aims to foster a sense of nationalism and patriotism among students while promoting awareness of the countrys cultural heritage.
The decision aligns with ongoing efforts by the state government to enhance civic education and instill pride in national identity among young learners. The departments initiative emphasizes the importance of understanding and appreciating Indias diverse historical and cultural narratives through its national symbols.
Schools have been instructed to incorporate this practice into their daily routines, particularly during morning assemblies and national celebrations. As part of this initiative, educators are also encouraged to provide students with context about the significance of both the national anthem and national song, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of their meaning and importance in Indian society.
