NCERT Accelerates Printing of Class 9 Textbooks as Supply Stabilizes
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced efforts to increase accessibility to its textbooks by making them available through various distribution channels. In addition to a nationwide vendor network, NCERT will also operate sales counters at its regional centers across the country. This initiative aims to facilitate easier access to educational resources for students and educators, ensuring that textbooks are readily available to support learning across different regions.
NCERT textbooks are used in schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and have been developed in accordance with the National Curriculum Framework. The move to diversify access points comes during a time of significant educational reforms in India, emphasizing the importance of accessible quality education for all students.
