The results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Undergraduate courses in 2026 have been released, revealing that a total of 11.21 lakh candidates qualified following a re-test. The NEET-UG is a critical examination for students aspiring to enter medical and dental colleges in India.

In a significant turnout, women candidates outshone their male counterparts, marking a trend that reflects the growing participation of females in the medical field. Among the top achievers, Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana emerged as the top scorers in the examination, excelling in an exceptionally competitive environment.
