Nellore Positioned as Industrial Hub with ₹10,000 Crore Investment, Says Chandrababu Naidu

In a recent announcement, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu detailed significant infrastructure developments aimed at enhancing connectivity and supporting local industries in the state. The government has allocated ₹6.27 crore for the construction of roads that will connect 25 fishing villages, aiming to improve access for local fishermen and facilitate the transportation of goods.

Additionally, a sum of ₹6.19 crore will be dedicated to the desilting of the North Buckingham Canal, a crucial waterway that supports both local fishing and irrigation activities. This project is expected to enhance water flow and improve the overall health of the ecosystem in the area.

Moreover, Naidu revealed that seven industries are planning to invest a combined total of ₹10,000 crore in the district. This influx of investment is anticipated to create job opportunities and boost the local economy. The government is committed to fostering industrial growth while ensuring sustainable development within the region.

These initiatives underscore the state’s ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure, improve livelihoods in coastal communities, and attract investment to stimulate economic growth.
