NIT Rourkela placement drive achieves 1,340 job offers, with highest B.Tech salary reaching Rs 1.31 crore.

NIT Rourkela has reported a successful placement drive for the 2025-26 academic year, achieving a total of 1,340 job offers and 364 six-month internship opportunities. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program recorded an impressive placement rate of 95.47%. Notably, the highest cost to company (CTC) offered was Rs 1.31 crore per annum, while the average CTC stood at Rs 15.33 lakh per annum and the median CTC was reported at Rs 12.50 lakh per annum.

In addition to the job placements, the institute facilitated 258 summer internships and attracted participation from 374 recruiters. Furthermore, over 83 students from various academic programs were able to secure annual packages exceeding Rs 30 lakh. This outcome underscores NIT Rourkelas commitment to providing students with valuable career opportunities and enhancing their employability in a competitive job market.
