Over 230 Irula Families in Ariyalur Benefit from Cashew Harvesting Initiative

The Tribal Welfare Department has provided financial assistance to members of the Irula community to enable their participation in public auctions for cashew plantations operated by the Tamil Nadu Forest Plantation Corporation Limited. This initiative aims to empower the Irula community by facilitating direct involvement in cashew cultivation and marketing processes.
