### PM Modi Delivers Made-in-India Patrol Vessel to Seychelles for Enhanced Maritime Security

New Delhi, India – Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently presented a Made-in-India patrol vessel to the Seychelles Coast Guard, marking a significant step in strengthening maritime security collaboration between India and Seychelles. The vessel, named INS Kiltan, was handed over during a ceremonial event aimed at boosting the capabilities of Seychelles maritime forces.

This gesture not only underscores Indias commitment to support Seychelles in safeguarding its maritime interests but also reflects the deepening bilateral relations between the two nations. The patrol vessel is expected to enhance Seychelles surveillance capabilities in its exclusive economic zone, which is critical for both national security and the management of marine resources.

Additionally, the Indian Navys INS Ikshak is present in Seychelles, participating in the country’s National Day celebrations, showcasing the commitment of India to maritime security in the Indian Ocean region. PM Modi is also expected to attend Seychelles Golden Jubilee celebrations, serving as the guest of honor. This event will commemorate 50 years of Seychelles independence and further highlight the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
