PM Modi Inaugurates SEMICON India 2026 in New Delhi

Additionally, Micron Technology announced plans to significantly increase its semiconductor assembly and testing operations within India next year, reflecting a growing confidence in the local market and workforce.
The Indian government has been proactive in offering policies and incentives to attract international semiconductor manufacturers and boost domestic production, in line with its aim to position India as a key player in the global technology arena.
