During the SEMICON India conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized Indias readiness and reliability as a key player in addressing the global manufacturing challenges, particularly in the semiconductor industry. Furthermore, the government has introduced clear regulations under the Semicon 2.0 scheme, which prohibits the selling of chip manufacturing plants until full commercial production is declared.
