PM Modi Launches 594-Km Ganga Expressway Linking 12 Districts from Meerut to Prayagraj
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has characterized the newly inaugurated six-lane expressway, which is designed to be expandable to eight lanes, as a vital infrastructure project for the region. He referred to the expressway as a “lifeline” that will enhance connectivity between villages, support farmers, and boost opportunities for entrepreneurs and youth.
The expressway is expected to facilitate smoother transportation, reduce travel time, and improve access to markets and services. As part of the states infrastructure development plan, this project aims to stimulate economic growth by providing better access to rural areas and integrating them with urban centers.
Officials anticipate that the expressway will not only aid in agricultural logistics but also attract investment and spur local entrepreneurship. This project aligns with the state government’s broader objectives of enhancing rural development and improving the overall quality of life for citizens across Uttar Pradesh.
