Prakasam Collector Instructs Officials to Expand Palle Nidra Village Night Stay Initiative Across Mandals

Prakasam District Collector P. Raja Babu has instructed Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs) and Tahsildars to implement the Palle Nidra program in all mandals following a successful village night stay conducted in the Darsi mandal.

The Palle Nidra initiative is aimed at fostering community engagement and understanding local issues by encouraging officials to spend nights in villages. This program is expected to enhance the connection between government officials and rural residents, allowing for more direct communication regarding the needs and priorities of local communities.

As part of this rollout, training and guidelines will be provided to RDOs and Tahsildars to effectively engage with villagers and assess the socio-economic conditions in their respective areas. The program is anticipated to strengthen governance at the grassroots level and promote participatory development in the district.
