Prime Minister Urges Secretaries to Prioritize Business Accessibility, Quality of Life, and Self-Sufficiency
During a recent meeting attended by nearly 80 Union Secretaries, including the Cabinet Secretary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need for comprehensive planning that leverages the PM Gati Shakti Master Plan. The initiative aims to enhance coordination among various departments and eliminate silos that may hinder efficient governance and project implementation.
The PM Gati Shakti Master Plan, launched in October 2021, focuses on fostering integrated infrastructure development across the nation. It promotes collaboration between ministries and departments for better resource allocation and strategic planning of national projects, ranging from transportation and logistics to urban development.
In his address, the Prime Minister highlighted how holistic planning can significantly improve the delivery of services and infrastructure projects, thereby accelerating economic growth and development. He urged the secretaries to prioritize teamwork and communication between departments to ensure that the governments developmental agenda is effectively realized.
