Proposal for Establishment of Balaji Railway Division in Tirupati

The Balaji Railway Division Sadhana Samiti has formally submitted a representation to General Manager Sandeep Mathur of the South Coast Railway. This meeting took place to discuss various issues and concerns affecting the railway division, including infrastructure development, passenger services, and safety measures.

The Sadhana Samiti, which plays a crucial role in advocating for the region’s railway interests, aims to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of railway operations in the area. During the meeting, they highlighted pressing needs such as improved connectivity, upgrades to station facilities, and the introduction of additional train services to meet the rising demand from passengers.

The South Coast Railway, one of Indias prominent railway zones headquartered in Visakhapatnam, oversees operations in several states along the east coast.
