Railway Minister Vaishnaw Introduces New Train Services: Routes, Extensions, and Details Available
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently inaugurated several new train services and route extensions aimed at improving rail connectivity in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Among the newly introduced services is a direct train connection between Nanded and Mumbai, as well as a service linking Tanakpur to Nanded.
In addition to these new routes, the Indian Railways has extended existing train services and regularized special services to accommodate passenger demand. In a move to facilitate travel during festive occasions, the Railways also announced the operation of special trains for the Onam and Rath Yatra festivals, reflecting its commitment to enhancing passenger convenience and accessibility during peak travel seasons.
These developments are part of the Indian Railways ongoing efforts to modernize its network and improve passenger services, which includes not only the introduction of new routes but also enhancements in on-board amenities and scheduling to better serve the needs of travelers across the country.
