Rajasthan Disburses ₹1,000 Each to 1.22 Lakh Anganwadi Workers via Direct Benefit Transfer
The Chief Minister announced that as part of the Amrit Aahar Yojana, children aged three to six years will receive hot milk five days a week at Anganwadi centers. This initiative is aimed at improving the nutritional intake of young children in the area.
In addition to providing nutritional support, the government is also investing in the infrastructure of these centers, with ongoing renovations to improve the facilities. Furthermore, smartphones have been distributed to workers and women supervisors at the centers, which is expected to enhance communication and streamline operations within the program.
The Amrit Aahar Yojana is part of a broader effort to tackle malnutrition and improve child health outcomes in the region, reflecting the governments commitment to early childhood development and support for families.
