Ranger Scheduled for 2027 Release: Film Targets Post-Eid Window

Ajay Devgns upcoming jungle adventure film, titled “Ranger,” has reportedly been rescheduled from its original release date of December 4, 2026, to a new date in 2027, following the Eid festivities. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Sanjay Dutt and Tamannaah Bhatia.

This shift in schedule paves the way for the release of a new comic caper starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, which is anticipated to compete at the box office with Shraddha Kapoors film “Eetha.”

With this change, Ajay Devgns upcoming slate for 2026 will now be limited to two films: “Dhamaal 4,” a sequel in the popular comedy franchise, and “Drishyam: The Conclusion,” which promises to further explore the suspenseful storyline from the previous films. Details regarding the new release date for “Ranger” are yet to be announced.
