Re-NEET 2026: Dharmendra Pradhan Encourages Students to Remain Confident in Light of New NTA Regulations

Approximately 22 lakh students are scheduled to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) re-examination today, following the cancellation of the initial test on May 3, 2026, due to an alleged paper leak. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan addressed the candidates on the occasion of International Day of Yoga, encouraging them to remain confident and free of anxiety during the examination process.

Pradhan expressed his faith in the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the respective state authorities, emphasizing the importance of protecting students mental health amidst strict exam protocols. The NTA has released new admit cards and established stringent entry guidelines to ensure a smooth testing experience.

The NEET examination serves as a significant gateway for students aspiring to pursue careers in medicine and dentistry in India. The decision to conduct a re-examination highlights the agencys commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process.
