Registration Open for ICSSR Postdoctoral and Senior Fellowships 2026; Applications Due by July 21

The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has officially announced the availability of online applications for its Postdoctoral Fellowship and Senior Fellowship programs for the 2026-2027 academic cycle. The application registration process commenced on June 22, 2026, and will remain open until July 21, 2026.

The Postdoctoral Fellowship is specifically designed for individuals who have recently completed their PhD and are under the age of 45. This program aims to support emerging scholars in advancing their research agendas. In contrast, the Senior Fellowship is intended for seasoned researchers aged between 45 and 70 years, providing them an opportunity to further their academic pursuits.
