Rubin Observatory Achieves Breakthrough in Cosmic Imaging

The Rubin Observatory has successfully captured an astounding image depicting over 500,000 galaxies and 50,000 stars, revealing a detailed view of a renowned region in the universe known as the COSMOS field. This remarkable feat has been accomplished using the world’s largest digital camera, which is capable of producing images with a resolution of 3.2 gigapixels.
