Rural Development Projects Set to Begin in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced the initiation of the “Palle Panduga 3.0” program, which is set to launch rural development projects worth ₹11,085 crores. The program aims to enhance infrastructure and services in rural areas across the state.

Palle Panduga, meaning “Village Festival” in Telugu, is designed to foster community engagement and improve the quality of life in villages. This third edition of the initiative is expected to incorporate a variety of projects, including improvements in roads, sanitation, irrigation, and housing.

In the previous phases of Palle Panduga, similar development works significantly improved rural livelihood and infrastructure. The government emphasizes that this new investment will not only create jobs but also boost local economies.

The official launch event is scheduled to include workshops and demonstrations to inform villagers about the benefits and opportunities arising from the new projects. The initiative aligns with the state governments broader strategy to promote sustainable rural development and uplift marginalized communities through targeted investments.
