Six Border Villages in Jammu and Kashmirs Kathua Included in Central Governments Vibrant Villages Programme-II

During a meeting held on April 25, Kathua Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma identified several villages situated along the International Border. The villages include Bobiya, Kadyala, Gajnal, Karol Krishna, Rathua, and Gujjar Chak.

This identification is part of ongoing efforts to enhance border management and ensure the safety and security of residents in the region. The meeting gathered various officials to discuss measures for improving infrastructure, facilitating development, and addressing the concerns of the local population living in proximity to the border.
