International Space Station Celebrates Exploration Day: A Glimpse into Life Above Earth

On the occasion of Space Exploration Day, the International Space Station (ISS) continues to serve as a symbol of scientific achievement and collaborative international space efforts. Astronauts aboard the ISS experience unique phenomena that set life in space apart from our existence on Earth. Notably, they witness 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets each day due to the high-speed orbit of the station, which travels at approximately 17,500 miles per hour.
