Suniel Expresses Regret Over Not Acquiring an IPL Team, Praises Shah Rukhs Timeliness
Actor Suniel Shetty expressed his longstanding admiration for cricketer KL Rahul, which predates their familial connection. Shetty stated that he prioritizes discussions about character and personal values at home, rather than providing direct career advice to his family members.
In a reflective moment, Shetty also revealed that he had the financial capacity to invest in an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise during the leagues inception. However, he noted that the absence of adequate support and the right ecosystem at that time prevented him from making such an investment.
He compared his situation to that of renowned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose successful foray into the IPL with the Kolkata Knight Riders is often attributed to his strategic timing and the backing he had, enabling him to establish a significant presence in the league.
The IPL, launched in 2008, has transformed into one of the most lucrative and popular cricket leagues in the world, drawing significant investment from celebrities and corporate entities alike.
