T.N. Assembly Election: Ambattur Constituency Residents Advocate for Improved Infrastructure, Including Hospitals, Sewer Systems, and Road Expansion

Residents of Ambattur are advocating for the construction of an additional platform on the southern side of the local railway station. They propose that this new platform accommodate express and fast local trains traveling towards Chennai, aimed at improving commuter access and reducing congestion on existing platforms.

In addition to the railway platform request, community members are calling for the establishment of a government hospital in the area. Currently, residents rely on Kilpauk Medical College Hospital or Stanley Hospital for emergency medical care, which are located several kilometers away. The absence of immediate healthcare facilities has raised concerns among residents about response times and access to urgent medical treatment.

Ambattur, located in the western part of Chennai, is a rapidly growing suburb with a population that has been increasing due to urbanization and development. The local government has been urged to consider these demands to enhance transportation and healthcare infrastructure, ensuring better services for the community. Stakeholders hope that their requests will be taken into account during upcoming planning sessions and budget discussions.
