Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Announces 50 Lakh Grant for Asian Games Silver Medallist Abhay Singh

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has announced a cash reward of ₹50 lakh for Abhay Singh, a silver medalist at the recent Asian Games held in 2023. Singh achieved this accolade in tennis, contributing to Indias commendable performance at the regional sporting event.

In addition to the cash reward, Singh will also receive an employment opportunity in the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority, which aims to support athletes in their careers beyond sports. The Asian Games, hosted in Hangzhou, China, saw a significant turnout, with athletes from various countries competing across numerous disciplines.
