Tamil Nadu Summit 2026 Focuses on Net Zero Growth for SMEs

IGBC Green Tamil Nadu Summit 2026 Aims for Net-Zero Growth

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) is set to host the Green Tamil Nadu Summit 2026, focusing on achieving net-zero growth and promoting sustainable building practices in the region. The summit will bring together industry experts, government officials, and sustainability advocates to discuss strategies for reducing the carbon footprint of buildings and infrastructure in Tamil Nadu.

In recent years, the state of Tamil Nadu has made significant strides towards sustainability, including the implementation of green building codes and policies. The IGBCs initiative aligns with national efforts to combat climate change and promotes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those relating to sustainable cities and communities.

Participants in the summit will share insights on green technologies, renewable energy, and eco-friendly building materials, aiming to inspire a shift towards more sustainable construction practices. The event is expected to feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and workshops.

As the focus on environmental sustainability intensifies globally, the Green Tamil Nadu Summit 2026 underscores the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors to drive meaningful change and achieve net-zero objectives.

The summit is scheduled to take place in 2026, and further details regarding the venue and registration will be announced in the coming months.
