Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has responded critically to comments made by actor and politician Vijay, who alleged that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government has left the state treasury depleted, with a debt burden of ₹10 lakh crore.

Stalin emphasized that the assertion made by Vijay is misleading and called for a more informed understanding of Tamil Nadus financial situation.
