Technical Issues Lead to Delays in CUET-UG 2026 Exam at Certain Centers

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that a re-test will be organized for 3,765 candidates who exited testing centers without completing their examinations, citing delays as the reason for their departure. The issue leading to the early exit of these candidates occurred during a scheduled test session on Saturday.

The technical service provider, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has confirmed that the technical difficulties experienced during the testing period have been addressed, and the examination process was subsequently resumed without compromising the integrity or sanctity of the test.

The NTA strives to ensure that all candidates are provided with a fair opportunity to complete their assessments, and the re-test aims to accommodate those affected by the recent disruptions. Further details regarding the scheduling of the re-test and the affected candidates will be communicated by the NTA in the coming days.

This incident highlights the importance of robust technological systems in large-scale examinations and the NTAs commitment to upholding the standards of educational assessments in India.
