Telangana Government to Enhance Support for Self-Help Group Brick Units with ₹18 Lakh Subsidized Loans for 736 Facilities
A recent survey conducted through district-wise field visits has identified a total of 736 cement brick manufacturing units operated by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) currently active across the state. The survey aimed to gather comprehensive data concerning various operational aspects of these units, including investment requirements, production capacities, labor needs, and existing operational challenges.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to support local entrepreneurship and strengthen the role of SHGs in the state’s economy. The data collected will be instrumental in understanding the scalability of these units and addressing any constraints they face, potentially leading to enhanced support programs from local government and development organizations. These insights will help inform policy decisions aimed at promoting sustainable industrial development and improving local employment opportunities.
