The vaccination campaign launched by the Health Department saw significant engagement on its opening day, successfully administering vaccines to approximately 3.895 million children. This effort was conducted through designated booth-based immunization sites, achieving a coverage rate of 95.1% of the targeted population of 4.097 million children.

The campaign aims to ensure that all children within the specified age group receive vaccinations to protect against preventable diseases. Health officials have expressed their commitment to reaching those who may not have accessed healthcare previously, emphasizing the importance of community participation in achieving full coverage.

As part of this initiative, health workers have been deployed to various locations to facilitate the immunization process and educate families about the benefits of vaccination. The campaign reflects ongoing efforts to improve public health and reduce the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases in the region. Further updates on the campaigns progress will be communicated as additional data becomes available.
