Telangana Removes RTA m-Wallet App from Service to Facilitate Integration with Vahan and Sarathi Systems
The Transport Department has reported a revenue of ₹7,097.38 crore for the financial year, marking an increase of over 2% compared to the previous year. This uptick in revenue is attributed to several factors, including an increase in vehicle registrations and the implementation of enhanced fee structures.
Officials from the Transport Department noted that the revenue growth demonstrates a recovering economy and a rise in public transportation utilization. They also highlighted ongoing efforts to improve service efficiency and infrastructure, which could potentially lead to even higher revenues in the future.
Additionally, the revenue generated contributes to various state-funded projects aimed at improving transportation networks and road safety initiatives. The Transport Department is likely to continue monitoring trends in vehicle registrations and transportation needs to sustain this upward trajectory in revenue.
