Telangana CEO Urges Residents to Confirm Personal Information for SIR 2002 Mapping
The Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana announced that the process of matching and linking the names of current electors with those of their relatives registered in the last Electoral Roll Review (ERR) conducted in 2002 is currently underway. This initiative aims to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the electoral rolls in the state, facilitating a smoother voting process for future elections.
The ongoing matching exercise is part of broader efforts to update and maintain the electoral register, ensuring that all eligible voters are accurately represented. The Chief Electoral Officer highlighted that this process will help in identifying discrepancies, eliminating duplicate entries, and enhancing the overall voter database.
