Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust Appoints New CEO and Members

The Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust has announced the appointment of three new members, with retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra designated as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Trust. This strategic leadership change is expected to enhance the administration and management of the temple, which is currently under construction and is anticipated to become a significant pilgrimage site.

Jeetendra Mishra, who previously commanded Operation Sindoor, brings extensive experience from his military background to this new role. His responsibilities as the CEO will include overseeing the temple’s development, managing funds, and coordinating with various stakeholders involved in the project.

In addition to Mishra, the Trust has appointed two other members whose identities have yet to be disclosed. They are expected to contribute diverse expertise and perspectives to the Trust’s operations.

However, the appointment of a new CEO has not gone without scrutiny. The Samajwadi Party (SP) has raised concerns regarding the selection process, questioning its transparency. They have called for the establishment of a panel supervised by the High Court to ensure a fair and accountable appointment process moving forward.

The Ayodhya Ram Temple, a site of religious significance to Hindus, has been under reconstruction since the Supreme Courts ruling in 2019, allowing for the temple to be built on a site believed by many to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. The construction process is being closely monitored, as it holds cultural and political importance in the region.
