**UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card Release and Exam Schedule Announced**
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the examination schedule for the UGC NET June 2026. Admit cards for the examination are expected to be released by June 15, 2026. The exams will take place from June 22 to June 30, 2026, and will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
This years examination has drawn significant interest, with over 1 million candidates having registered to participate. The testing will be conducted in two shifts each day, allowing for a large number of candidates to be accommodated.
In a move to enhance accessibility, the NTA has established four new regional centers in the North-East region of India. Additionally, the agency has introduced two new subjects—Forestry and Statistics—broadening the scope of the test for aspirants.
Candidates are advised to check and confirm the details mentioned on their admit cards upon release to avoid any discrepancies on the day of the examination. It is essential for candidates to ensure that all information is correct, as this will facilitate a smooth examination process.
