UltraTech Cement Commissions New Plant, Global Output Reaches 2,101 MTPA

UltraTech Cement has announced the commissioning of a new facility that will enhance its production capacity by 4.6 million tons per annum (mtpa). This expansion is part of the companys ongoing efforts to meet rising demand for cement in both domestic and international markets. As a result of this expansion, UltraTechs total global output now reaches 210.1 mtpa.

The new facility highlights UltraTech Cements commitment to strengthening its operational capabilities and enhancing its competitive position in the industry. As the largest manufacturer of grey cement, ready mix concrete, and white cement in India, UltraTech plays a significant role in the construction sector, where the demand for cement is expected to grow steadily due to infrastructure projects and urbanization.
