UPSC Issues Provisional Answer Key for Civil Services Preliminary Examination for the First Time

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that candidates may submit their representations regarding the answer key used in a recent examination. To do so, candidates are required to provide their interpretation of the correct answer key along with a brief explanation. Furthermore, they must support their claims with documentation from three reliable sources.

This process allows candidates to contest the official answer key if they believe there are discrepancies. The representations must be submitted in accordance with the UPSCs guidelines, which emphasize the importance of providing credible evidence to support any claims made.

Candidates are encouraged to be precise and thorough in their submissions to enhance the chances of their representations being considered. The UPSC plays a crucial role in conducting examinations for various civil services positions in India, and the incorporation of a representation process reflects its commitment to transparency and fairness in the evaluation of candidates.
